As Christians, we’re called to live out Godly leadership no matter where we are, that includes the workplace. Today some suggestion on how to be a true Christian at work.
Here are five tips to help you fully live out your faith in the workplace:
First, Watch Your Words:
What comes out of our mouths truly matters, and watching what we say and how we speak to people is an essential way to live out our witness.
The mouth can be a window into the soul, so as you consider religion in the workplace keep in mind what’s coming out of your mouth, your tone and how you treat others.
Next, Actions Speak Loudest:
What you say can only take you so far, as your actions — your willingness to live out your faith in the workplace — is absolutely essential. Match your actions with your words.
Then – Sharing Your Faith:
Jesus commands us to share our faith. In the workplace, look for appropriate times to share the love of God. part of that is how we treat those around us. But religion in the workplace can also manifest themselves in lunchtime conversation about eternal subjects.
Going Above and Beyond:
Part of Godly leadership is always being willing to help someone out and be a kind listening ear. This is another way you can seek to live out your faith in the workplace.
Finally, Working for Christ in All You Do:
One important detail to remember is that we are called to work and live for God no matter where we are. So, you’re called to be a Christian at work, a Christian at home, a Christian with friends and in any other venue.
