Reality TV star Jessa Duggar Seewald has donated her baby shower gifts to a Pro-Life pregnancy center.
Seewald of the show “Jill and Jessa: Counting On” recently had a baby shower for her second child. Instead of keeping the gifts she was given, however, Jessa decided to donate them to a pro-life pregnancy center.
Jessa and the 130 baby shower attendees put together gift packages for women at the Loving Choices Pregnancy Center. They also included Bibles in the gift packages.
Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, already have a baby boy, and there was much speculation on whether this baby will be a boy or a girl. Jessa and Ben say they are not yet revealing the baby’s gender. The baby shower had a color theme of pastels, which led some to believe Jessa is expecting a girl. She is due in February.
The Duggar family likely has another baby shower coming up in the near future as Jessa’s sister, Jill Duggar Dillard is also pregnant, and is due in July.
Although Jessa and her friends and family happily gave gifts to the pregnancy center, Jessa did keep one gift for herself: a special date-night basket for her and her husband to enjoy, given to her by her party planner.
Jill and Jessa: Counting On is a reality series following the lives of the elder Duggar children as they adjust to new surroundings, marriage and parenthood. She was part of the program 19 kids and counting, a program about the family with 19 children.
