The inspirational story of Charles Mully is coming to the big screen early next month.  He’s considered a modern-day hero in Kenya.

Mully is a powerful new documentary that tells the story of Dr. Charles Mully, a man who responded to God’s call and rescued thousands of orphans in Kenya.

Mulli was born in Kenya; the firstborn in a family of eight. At the time, his parents were living in extreme poverty. When Charles was just six years old, they abandoned him to the care of his aunt, who was also impoverished.

But with the help of the community, Charles was able to get an 8th-grade education and went on to study Evangelism and Theology.

In 1971 he bought a car and converted it into a taxi. Through diligence and God’s blessing, his business grew in volume and size to become “Mullyways,” a transportation business conglomerate operating a fleet of vehicles.

He used that success to create Mully Children’s Family. A Christian rehabilitation organization for street children, orphaned, abandoned, abused, desperate and neglected children who have nowhere to call home and no one to care for them.

Jim Daly, President, and CEO,  of Focus on the Family, says “Mully tells an amazing story of surrender to God and incredible sacrifice on behalf of the most vulnerable members of society. Dr. Charles Mully provides us with an excellent example of Christian faith in action.

The movie will be in select theatres October 3rd thru the 5th. Go to mully.focus on the family.com for ticket information.
