THE SHIFT is produced by Angel Studios, the studio and distributor behind the global blockbuster SOUND OF FREEDOM.
The sci-fi thriller stars Neal McDonough, Sean Astin, Kristoffer Polaha, Liz Tabish, Paras Patel, and Rose Reid. The movie was written and directed by Brock Heasley.
THE SHIFT is the story of Kevin Garner who encounters a mysterious adversary known as The Benefactor. When Kevin refuses The Benefactor’s enticing offer of wealth and power, he is shifted into an alternate totalitarian regime where he encounters infinite worlds and impossible choices as he attempts to return to the woman he loves.
The genre-breaking film landed at #8 nationwide over-the-weekend with $4.3M in ticket sales according to Box Office Mojo.
