Rachael, Abigail, Julia and Luke Molnar are 22-year-old quadruplets who graduated together from Metropolitan State University of Denver on May 12.

Rachael Molnar said of the milestone, “I’m so happy to be able to do it with my best friends.”
Best of all, they say, they graduated debt-free, thanks in part to earning scholarships from the school.

Abigail said, “It’s been a lot of hard work, and a lot of prayers answered. The biggest thing is having a family that supports you and somebody that’s behind you to cheer each other on, it’s been the most amazing thing … it makes everything so much better!”

Born in October 2000, the quads grew up in Morrison, Colorado, a few miles south of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Their father, Mark, is a software engineer consultant, and their mother, Sharon, was a geriatric nurse practitioner. Their older brother, Roman, graduated from Metropolitan State two years ago.

Meanwhile in Gulfport, Mississippi, 90-year-old Ellouise Lewis has finally received her GED after seven decades when she had to drop out of school. Her graduation ceremony was held at her nursing home.

Lewis told WLOX, “I never did get a chance to graduate until this day.”

Lewis was in the 10th grade when she dropped out of high school. Whenever she looked back to those days, she said she had always wished to finish her education.

The staff at the Gulfport Care Center, where Lewis has been admitted, helped make her wish come true. They reached out to Wells of South Gate, a religious organization and learning center that conducts adult classes.

Activity Director Lisa Perdue said, “It’s a blessing to me and to my coworkers to be able to make this happen.”
