Sunday is National Single Parent Day. We’ll tell you how you can get involved.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan established National Single Parent Day. Unfortunately, the day has gone unnoticed for a very long time.

Robert Beeson, founder of Solo Parent Society hopes to change that.

In an announcement promoting the day he said“Many of us know at least one single parent, but we may not know how to show our support. ‘Super Hero Sunday’ is a time for us to recognize these hard working parents and help them feel seen. Now is our chance to love on these selfless individuals and show how much we care.”

To the end, the Solo Parent Society created SingleParentDay.com as a way to help single parents raise healthy kids. Their efforts include a Solo Parent Society zoom support groups 6 days a week, a weekly podcast with Over 100,000 downloads, Audio devotions and meditations offered five days a week, and an app where all of this content can be accessed.

That website will also host this Sunday’s National Single Parent Day. The livestream includes King and Country, Matthew West, We the Kingdom and others for a special Facebook Live event. The event starts at 6pm Eastern Time.

You can register online at single parent day.com. You can also find many other resources on that website.
