A FedEx man’s secret act of kindness for a widow gets captured by a security camera.

Leigh Ann Skoda’s husband, Adam, passed away at age 42 after a seven-month battle with cancer. He left behind not only Leigh Ann, but the couple’s three kids as well.

Since Adam’s passing, Leigh Ann has been doing her best to manage everything on her own. Recently, Brian Scholl, who drives a FedEx truck around her area, saw Leigh Ann struggling to put air in her tires. She asked him for some help and the two chatted a bit. Upon learning about her circumstances, Brian told her to reach out any time she needed some help.

Leigh Ann didn’t think much of it, and was grateful for the help with her tires. Then, a snow storm left her porch and sidewalk covered in snow. She hadn’t gotten to shoveling it quite yet when Brian pulled up to her home in his FedEx truck.

He didn’t have a package or even ring the doorbell, he simply took it upon himself to clear the snow for her, a small gesture to help her out. But unbeknownst to him, Leigh Ann’s front door security camera captured everything.

Upon seeing the footage, Leigh Ann posted the video to her Facebook page, publicly thanking Brian for his act of kindness.  She wrote:

“Doorbell cameras don’t only catch people stealing packages. Our FedEx guy stopped and out of the kindness of his heart, scooped my sidewalks. I truly feel like we cross paths with people for reasons. Thank you Brian Scholl for just being you, and being on of the people who truly ‘get’ our situation! #kindessmatters”

Since posting the video, it has been shared hundreds of times, with viewers applauding Brian for his kindness and thoughtfulness.
