The Bible is the most read book in the history of civilization…..but we have a bunch of facts about the Bible that you probably didn’t know.
The website Christian Funny Pictures lists 12 amazing facts about the Bible. We’ll try to get through as many as we can:

- In 2001, the world Christian Encyclopedia counted more than 33 thousand different Christian denominations
- Billy Graham has used the Bible to preach Christianity to more than 200 million people.
- This one isn’t about the Bible but the connection is obvious… Jesus is mentioned more times in the Quran than Muhammad.
- The Bible is the most shoplifted book in the world.
- The word Christian appears just three times in the bible.
- The longest word in the old testament is “mahershalalhashbaz.” He was the son of Isaiah.
- The word “and” appears more than 46 thousand times.
- And the longest chapter in the bible is psalm 119. It has 176 verses and begins — “Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.”
